Launching the campaign of "All people participate in forest fire prevention and control"
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien emphasized that forest fire prevention and control, including forest fire drills, was identified by the province as a very important task.
It will review forest fire prevention and control plans, improve leadership mechanisms, direction and administration of authorities.
It will also evaluate the participation and coordination between specialized agencies, military, police, departments, mass organizations and local forces.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, Hien directly commanded the drill to respond to the situation of large-scale forest fires.
The rehearsal process operated in accordance with the mechanism, well promoting the capacity of forest fire commanders and operators, and improving the coordination and synergy of the participating forces.
Through the drill, it helps to raise awareness, sense of vigilance and responsibility for forest fire protection.
It also improved the capacity in directing, commanding and coordinating in handling forest fire incidents.
